Markus Bertschi

Electromechanic and trombonist

Born 1973 in Gränichen (Aargau/Switzerland). Thanks to bis mechanical experience the Crocomobile received its personal touch. His likes travelling and after our common trips to Southern Africa in the past years he has quite some camping-experience in the outback. Instead of maintenance of the machine in his compagny in food industry, he will rather will have to act as an automobile mechanic in the next months.

Daniela Bertschi

Doctor

Born 1975 in Iserlohn (Germany). She got already infected by the travelling and camping-virus in childhood by her parents and during her studies, she profited of every occasion for travelling and studying abroad. In 2002, she was in Australia for the first time for a there months internship in Canberra – and since then, she is searching for an opportunity to come back to see more of this fascinating continent. After 12 years of sometimes exhausting and time-consuming work in her job, she is looking forward to a long holiday with time for her children – to get the force for the next 25 years till retirement!

Nora Bertschi

Born 2009 in Switzerland, she already travelled at the age of 3.5 months in a baby-sling Carrier by her parents to South Africa. In the next years, some camping trips and mountain trips (partly in a child carrier, partly on her own feet) follwed. Now she is looking forward to a long adventurous holiday before schools begins in Summer 2016. We are hoping that she will keep this journey for a long time in memory.

Fiona Bertschi

Born 2011 in Switzerland (Fribourg). She has also experienced a lot of mountain trips and journeys with us. She is curious and loves bring in nature. We hope that will also experienced a lot of exciting things during this holiday and despite her not yet 4 years will remember it.
